Privacy policy

This policy explains what the Puzzle Hubs app for Android collects, why, and the choices you have. Puzzle Hubs is a collection of puzzle games, starting with Trail.

In short: you play without an email or password. We store a random account ID, your username and your daily puzzle results so the leaderboard and streaks work. There are no ads, no analytics or advertising trackers, and we never sell your data.

What we collect and why

Data that stays on your phone

The following is stored only on your device and is never sent to us:

The name, email address and avatar you can add in Edit profile
Practice puzzle stats, such as best and average times
Puzzles in progress, your theme choice and reminder settings
Daily reminders, which are scheduled by your phone, not sent by our servers

What other players can see

Only your username, your time, your hints and your rank on the daily leaderboard. Nothing else about you is shown to other players.

Service providers

We use two providers to run the app. They process data on our behalf and under their own privacy and security commitments:

Google Firebase Authentication creates and verifies the anonymous account. Google may process your IP address and basic device information to do this and to prevent abuse. See the Firebase privacy information.
Microsoft Azure hosts our servers and database in the Central India region. See the Microsoft privacy statement.

We do not share your data with anyone else, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising.

Sharing your results

When you tap Share on a result, the app creates an image and opens your phone's share menu. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose an app to share with.

How long we keep data

Your account data and results are kept until you delete your account. Technical logs are deleted automatically after 30 days.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings, then Delete account at the bottom. This immediately removes your username, results, streak and leaderboard entries from our servers, deletes your anonymous sign-in and clears your data from the phone. Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS. Every request is checked against your signed-in account, and access to the database is limited to the app's own server identity.

Children

Puzzle Hubs is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to object to how it is used. You can change your username in the app and delete your account at any time. For anything else, email us.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be announced in the app.
